Events Coordinator
Gaytri Kapoor
Gaytri Kapoor opted for a nonprofit career to assist others. Over the last 13 years, she fulfilled roles as a Community Engagement Representative and a Donor Contact Representative at NMDP. Gaytri is the program advocate for IACAN’s Marrow initiative and is a member of the Advisory Board of IACAN.
Account Manager
Leah Couts
Leah has been involved in healthcare since she was in college, where she got her Master's degree in healthcare administration. She has also organized fundraisers for Alzheimer's Association® to raise awareness. Now, she works as the Account Manager for NMDP's NW Territory and plays a crucial role in providing SAMI with the support needed in the NW region and as advisor on reach more people.

Sara Rose Hansen
Sara Rose was first introduced to stem cell therapy when her father was diagnosed with cancer. From what began as a simple cheek swab, Sara is now heavily involved with NMDP and SAMI, fighting for and working toward equal access to life-saving stem cell therapy for all patients in need.
Event Strategist
Rafiya (Peerbhoy) Khan
Rafiya Khan is the current acting CEO & President of SAMAR (South Asian Marrow Association of Recruiters Inc). SAMAR is a community-based Network member of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and an official Recruitment Center of the Be The Match Registry. She works to serve patients who need a stem cell transplant for leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell anemia, fatal blood disorders and other conditions requiring a cellular transplant for an improved life. She has been instrumental in helping SAMI's mission of saving livings by adding ethnic diversity to the national stem cell registries as an events' strategist.
